Tanzania Activate Talk: “23 Million Children: Let’s Talk about their Rights”

On 20 November, UNICEF, the EU, Save the Children and Plan International organized a multi-stakeholder forum to mark the 25th anniversary of the CRC. The aim was to convene a three-hour seminar- inspired by the TED talks – inviting inspiring speakers (national experts, academics, CSO/NGO representatives, donors, United Nations, influential private sector representatives and thought leaders) to take stock of progress achieved, identify main challenges in realizing the rights of the child and focus on best ways to address these through innovative solutions. Select sessions from the conference were broadcast on TV and radio as well as web platforms.
